Ao.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Andreas Uhl is an Associate professor at the Department of Computer Sciences at the University of Salzburg. He is director of the Multimedia Signal Processing and Security Lab (WaveLab) and deputy head of the department. His research interests include Image and Video Processing, Wavelets, Medical Imaging, Media Security, and Biometrics.

Prof. Uhl is working for Horus IT GmbH as a consultant for the areas of image and video processing, with the specific aim of transferring recent scientific research results into real life applications.

Dr. Michael Häfner is a physician affiliated with the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Medical University of Vienna. He is specializing in gastro- and colonoscopy and is currently Secretary General of the Austrian Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Dr. Häfner is a consultant for Horus IT GmbH in the areas of medical sciences, specifically in areas related to medical imaging and corresponding medical imaging hardware.
